Magistra SA Laboratories was created in 1943 in Geneva Switzerland. The laboratories were acquired in 1981 by the present owner and CEO Mr Ionel Cicotti, Doctor in pharmacy. Located in Meyrin, City of Geneva Technology Area, in close proximity to the cosmetics and fragrances world leaders such as Givaudain and Firmenich and 5 km from Geneva Airport, they provide Research & Development work for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and fragrances industries producing pharmaceutical products, cosmetics and specific requests from the third parties interested in developing new products. The laboratories pharmaceutical work is in compliance and direct control of the Swiss Authorities and is operating under the Site Master File procedures as approved by the Governing Authority. The GMP practices are followed by the Cosmetics manufacturing processes and are under scheduled Authorities inspections and certification procedures. Each formula developed by the Labs has been approved by the Governing Authority and have been certified as being in conformance with Swiss and European Community (EU) Directives. During the past 20 years, the have developed their own brands of cosmetics and skin care products for women and men. Trademarks skin care product lines such as Floritene, Granit and Sportmen are offering complete lines of skin care products as well as fragrances including creams, gels, masks, peeling agents, make-up removers, tonic lotions, sun care products, shampoos, ampoules and perfumes.
